Words with Wallace is so excited to announce that we will be participating in the East Alabama Stronger Together Family Resource Fair!

This event is a fantastic opportunity for families with children who have special health care needs to connect with local organizations, support services, and valuable resources!

💙🌍 April 2. World Autism Awareness Day.

Today, we honor the parents raising autistic children..the ones who love, advocate, protect, and show up in ways the world doesn’t always see.

This day is for the parents who learned to celebrate progress in inches, not miles.
For the ones who understand that communication comes in many forms.
For the ones who know that meltdowns aren’t “bad behavior,” but overwhelmed hearts asking for help.

It’s for the parents who had to rewrite the parenting book they thought they’d use…
and build a new one based on patience, intuition, and unconditional love.

Some days are heavy.
Some days are magic.
Most days are both.

But one thing is always true:
Your child is not broken.
Your child is not “less.”
Your child is beautifully and uniquely wired.

And you..the parent..are doing an incredible job.
Even on the days you doubt yourself.
Even on the days that feel long and loud and overwhelming.
Even on the days you wonder if anyone understands.

Your love is seen.
Your effort is seen.
Your child’s light is seen.

Today, the world pauses to recognize autism..
but you live this love, this patience, this strength every single day.

To every parent raising an autistic child:
You are doing amazing.
Your child is doing amazing.
And the world needs more hearts like yours. 💙

It's been a fun and highly engaging week at Words with Wallace! The children showed so much joy while working with materials like Play-Doh, shape sorters, and magnetic tiles. These hands-on activities are not only fun but are also essential for developing fine motor skills and spatial reasoning in our young learners! All great learning starts with PLAY!
