Join us for a 10-week course designed for adults 50+ without a dementia diagnosis who want to learn how to prevent or delay dementia.

Please take precautions to stay safe and warm—limit time outdoors, check on pets and neighbors, and protect pipes and vehicles. Stay warm, everyone!

🚨 EXTREME COLD WATCH ISSUED 🚨
NW Iowa - Source: National Weather Service (NWS)

Dangerously cold wind chills are expected across the region.

🥶 What to know:
• Wind chills could drop as low as -37°F
• Frostbite possible in as little as 10 minutes
• Blowing snow may reduce visibility
• Travel could become hazardous

🕒 Timing:
Thursday evening through Friday afternoon

📍 Affected Counties:
Lyon, Sioux, O’Brien, Clay, Plymouth, Cherokee, Buena Vista, Woodbury, Ida, Rock, Dixon, Dakota, Minnehaha, Lincoln, Union

🧤 Safety Tips:
• Dress in layers, including a hat, face mask, and gloves
• Limit time outdoors
• Use extra caution while driving
• Secure loose outdoor objects
