BASCA volunteers will staff a covered concessions area during The Players Championship (March 10–15, 2026). By volunteering, you’ll help BASCA raise funds to support individuals with intellectual disabilities - and have a great time doing it!
📅 Open Volunteer Days & Shifts:
• Wednesday, March 11 – All shifts open
• Thursday, March 12 – (Availability open)
• Friday, March 13 – (Availability open)
• Saturday, March 14 – Early Morning & Late Shift open
• Sunday, March 15 – Day Shift open
⏰ Shift Options:
• Early Morning: 6:30/7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

What an unforgettable evening at Night to Shine! ✨👑

On February 13th, our BASCA individuals experienced a night filled with joy, celebration, and so much love. Night to Shine is always a favorite because it reminds each participant that they are truly a king or queen — and this year was no exception. From the red carpet moments to the dancing and crowning, the smiles said it all.

We are so grateful for the volunteers, supporters, and community members who help make this night so special. Events like this create lasting memories and remind our individuals just how valued and celebrated they are.

Earlier this month, players, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and many of the incredible individuals we serve - came together for a fun, high-energy day on the courts. It was a fantastic morning at BASCA’s 2nd Annual Love All Tennis Social!

Because of your generosity and enthusiasm, more than $10,000 was raised to support individuals with intellectual and developmental differences in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to BASCA Board Member Nancy Simmons, whose vision, leadership, and tireless work made this event possible! Once again, she took the lead in planning, coordinating, and bringing all the details together. Her dedication and commitment to BASCA were evident every step of the way, and this event’s continued success is a reflection of her hard work.

Thank you to Mike Buresh, Chief Meteorologist at Action News Jax, for serving as our emcee and keeping the energy high throughout the event. We also appreciate the generosity of Eagle Harbor Tennis for donating the courts and supporting our mission.
