Worried about an elevated PSA? Don’t panic.

Dr. Daneshvar shares that high PSA levels aren’t always linked to cancer. Sometimes it’s an enlarged prostate, infection, or inflammation.

The key is to get checked and understand your results alongside your doctor.

Why are younger men being diagnosed with prostate cancer?

Dr. Daneshvar hears this question a lot. The reason? Better testing and improved diagnostics mean we’re catching prostate cancer earlier and more often.

Prostate cancer treatment isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Dr. Daneshvar explains that some men are excellent candidates for active surveillance, depending on:

âś… PSA levels
âś… Pathology results
âś… Additional biomarkers

Others may benefit from surgery. The key is personalized care and the right evaluation.

What is a PSA test?

It checks for prostate specific antigen, a marker that can tell us if your prostate has:
-Enlargement
-Irritation or inflammation
-Or something more serious — like cancer

If caught early, we can treat prostate cancer effectively before it spreads, using state-of-the-art technology. Early detection saves lives!
