📌 ATTENTION CALIFORNIA DOCTORS OF CHIROPRACTIC

A tentative hearing date of January 12, 2026 has been noted for SB 687 in Sacramento (date subject to change).

SB 687 is the bill that proposes creating a legal pathway for California chiropractors to register as “Animal Chiropractic Practitioners.”
If passed, this bill would allow DCs with the proper certification to work with animals under a formal state-recognized registration.

This is an important bill for our profession — especially for those interested in expanding services into animal chiropractic care.
