Breastlink has always been a leader in breast health. We believe the best treatment combines the expertise of medical experts at each point of the care continuum (diagnostic imaging, pathology, surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology). This is why we emphasize a collaborative approach to breast cancer diagnoses, what we call a treatment planning conference, where our network of oncologists, surgeons and other specialists discuss each patient’s case and work to develop a coordinated treatment plan to maximize the chance of a cure. Each patient is unique; an appropriate treatment plan must be personalized for you. Conversations between patients and our breast-dedicated professionals help us grow to understand each patient’s unique story. Patients, and their families, will have every question answered the first day you walk through our doors. There truly is no such thing as a “bad” question. The Breastlink treatment model ensures patients leave our doors the first day with a treatment plan and the information to make informed decisions. One team.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we recognize Betty Ford, a woman whose courage helped change the conversation around breast cancer.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1974, Betty Ford openly shared her experience with the public at a time when the disease was rarely discussed. Her honesty helped remove stigma, encouraged women to talk about breast health, and inspired millions to prioritize early detection and screening.

What became known as the “Betty Ford Blip” led to a significant rise in women scheduling mammograms and making their breast health a priority.

Her advocacy continues to impact women’s health today, reminding us that awareness and education can save lives. 💗

Upcoming mammogram? Here are 3 ways you can prepare ⬇️

1. Wear comfortable, easy to remove clothing.
2. Avoid applying deodorant, perfume, or lotion as they can interfere with the imaging process.
3. Schedule your appointment for when your breasts aren't likely to be tender or swollen. Try to avoid the week before your period.

Save this for your next appointment and drop any questions below. You got this! đź©·

Early detection saves lives.

When breast cancer is detected early, the 5-year survival rate is about 99%, according to the American Cancer Society.

At RadNet, we’re using innovation to make breast cancer screening more accessible through our Mobile Mammography Screening Program. These state-of-the-art mobile units extend advanced imaging beyond traditional settings—bringing high-quality screening closer to the communities we serve.

Each exam is performed using advanced 3D mammography technology and interpreted by experienced Breastlink and RadNet breast radiologists, ensuring the same clinical standards and expertise patients expect in our centers.

By combining technology, clinical expertise, and mobility, we’re expanding access to early detection and helping more women get screened—without compromising quality or care.
