Toufigh is a Microbiologist and Chiropractor who has provided the institute with a scientific belief system that optimum health is only achieved through the proper balancing of chemical (eg: food & nutrition), structural (muscular tone, skeletal alignment, etc.) and psychological (eg: mental, emotional, etc.) factors in one's life. Dr. Toufigh has a vast and varied experience in different branches of the health field. He holds a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from California State University and a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Dr. Toufigh is an experienced clinician who incorporates some of the latest scientific thoughts, discoveries, and technologies in treatment of his patients. Nutritional, physical, and emotional concerns of the patients are addressed in his holistic approach towards achievement of health, prevention of disease, and prolongation of life (anti-aging). In addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Toufigh is also an active licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a Board Certified Naturopathic Physician. He has served in two chiropratic colleges as associate professor of microbiology, pathology, and laboratory medicine for many years and is proud of his achievement in training some of the fine doctors of the future. He uses his extensive knowledge of Medical Laboratory Diagnosis in resolution of some of the very complicated diagnostic problems.
