𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭?
Having a plan and setting goals gives us structure and something that we know we can depend on. So what do we do when our plans and our goals seem to slip beyond our control due to our circumstances?
Let’s start with flexibility and how we can be open to letting things go that are out of our control.
Can your goals be completed later than what you originally had planned and hoped for? Of Course! After all, you are in full control of all of your actions.
But, something to ponder; are you using life’s circumstances as an excuse to not complete that one overwhelming goal?
Is it REALLY going to be impossible to accomplish in your original time frame? What goals can you recreate and or reevaluate during difficult circumstances?
And what about plans for the year?
If life circumstances have stopped your plans from happening temporarily, yes, this can be quite frustrating because, again, that sense of structure has been broken. So, if you are in this situation, make new plans or adjust your old plans.
The most important thing to remember when things don’t go as planned and goals must be put aside (for now), is that YOU are right where YOU are meant to be. So let go and be in the moment and always hold on to the understanding that this moment in your life, YOU get to choose how you react : )
