🚨 Signing Bill A3319 into law today means a better 2026 for millions of New Yorkers who work with and alongside LCATs. 👏👏👏

🚨 These New Yorkers include adults and children with special needs, caregivers, mental health prescribers, families, hospital staff, trauma survivors, licensed mental health professionals who work alongside LCATs, teens, the elderly, New Yorkers who struggle with substance abuse, PTSD, and more 👏👏👏

🚨 Numerous professional colleagues, parents of clients, and former clients took time out of their day to provide insightful, profound, and heartfelt testimonials to demonstrate how important signing A3319 into law is for all of NYS👏👏👏

🚨 There are only 3 1/2 days left in 2025 legislative calendar to advocate for our governor to sign this bill into law. The time is NOW! 👏👏👏

✅ All New Yorkers deserve access to mental healthcare that works for them! Creative arts therapy is an accessible form of psychotherapy that works for children, teens, and adults when other talk therapies don’t. During these difficult times, NYS should be able to access the care that best supports their healing without being limited by outdated coverage policies! 🙌🙌🙌

✅ Signing A3319 into law won’t cost the state anything! 🙌🙌🙌

The holiday times are already stressful enough without having to worry about whether your insurance plan will cover your therapist. Please sign A3319/S1001 into law to make sure ALL New York State licensed psychotherapists are covered by insurance.
