💊 NEW for 2026: Medicare Prescription Payment Plan 💳
Big prescription costs can be stressful — but Medicare has a solution that helps spread those costs out over time.
Starting January 2025, and now in 2026, Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in a Part D prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage plan with drug coverage can choose the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan.
✅ What is it?
This program allows you to spread your out-of-pocket prescription drug costs into monthly payments instead of paying large amounts at the pharmacy.
✅ How it works:
• $0 paid at the pharmacy for covered Part D drugs
• Your drug costs are billed monthly by your plan
• Payments are spread evenly over the year
• No interest or enrollment fees
✅ Who can enroll?
Anyone with Medicare drug coverage can choose to opt in — especially helpful for those with high-cost medications.

You must pay your monthly bill on time to remain in the program.
