A little about who we are and why this matters so much to us:

Growing Together is a multi-specialty perinatal group practice right here in beautiful Orangevale. You may have known us previously as Infant Instincts — our original name and the foundation this work was built on. Earlier this year, we rebranded to Infant Instincts Consulting LLC DBA Growing Together to better reflect what we’ve become: a full, wraparound support system for families from pregnancy through postpartum.

Our team includes
• Lactation Consultants
• Doulas
• Midwives
• Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists specializing in perinatal mental health
• Registered Nurses focused on perinatal and infant care

In 2025 alone, we were able to get 4,203 visits approved through insurance, helping remove one of the biggest barriers families face when seeking care. We supported 238 birthing clients and 163 lactation clients — real families, real babies, real impact.

This nomination isn’t about a trophy on a shelf. It’s about visibility. It’s about showing families that compassionate, evidence-based, community-rooted care exists right here. It’s about making sure doulas, lactation consultants, and perinatal providers can keep doing the work they were called to do — and that families can actually access it.

We are just getting started, and we plan to make big waves for families in this community for years to come.

Meet Jessica Hopp, the behind-the-scenes magic maker at Growing Together Network in Orangevale ✨

If insurance billing feels confusing, overwhelming, or downright stressful… Jessica is your person. She’s our insurance billing guru, the one who knows how to turn denials into deposits and paperwork into peace of mind.

Jessica has a talent for translating “insurance language” into real results for families and providers alike. She knows the systems, fights for what’s covered, and makes sure the process is as smooth (and successful) as possible — so you can focus on care, not claims.

Her goal?

✔️ More approvals
✔️ A whole lot more yes

🧱 Before there were systems, we built them. By hand.

In the earliest days, long before “pathways” or “processes” existed, the first six months were chaotic, unglamorous, and exhausting.
📞 Hours on the phone with insurance.
Fighting for authorizations.
Chasing payments.
Appealing denials.
Translating insurance language no one bothered to explain to providers.

It wasn’t easy.
But it was necessary.

While others waited to see how things would shake out, Growing Together did the work. We tested the process, made the mistakes, learned the rules, and built relationships with insurers, so providers wouldn’t have to.

💪 And it worked.

Now the groundwork is laid. The heavy lifting is done. The systems are built. Providers no longer have to fight the system alone and getting paid can finally be straightforward and predictable.

We didn’t wait.
We built.
And now we’re getting providers paid. 🌿
