This month we had a great staff meeting focused on strengthening the way we support residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We had a very insightful presentation led by Laura DeLoye from the Alzheimer’s Association. We explored how dementia impacts communication and behavior, and talked through ways we can better understand our residents, create a calming environment, and provide thoughtful, person-centered care. Grateful for opportunities like this to keep learning and improving the care our team provides every day! 💜

Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration was such fun! The biggest highlight was the live saxophone music by Bill Pierce. His music brought such joy to everyone! Families, residents, and kids alike all soaked in the spirit of the celebration. Can’t wait to celebrate the actual holiday tomorrow!☘️🎶

Our 2026 Teamwork theme is off to a strong start!
In our last two staff meetings at Magnolia and Primrose, we focused on dementia training and welcomed an occupational therapist to share best practices for transferring residents safely and respectfully. Love seeing our team learn, practice, laugh and grow together. 🤝♥️

Our year wrapped up with a season full of holiday cheer and special moments. One highlight was having Pitch Please, a wonderful local ladies’ singing quartet, return to share their beautiful voices with our residents. It’s amazing how music can brighten a day and bring back cherished memories. We’re so grateful! 🎵✨
