No one tells you this part.
Most people don’t wake up and say,
“I need help with my house.”
They notice small things instead.
A step that feels higher.
A light that feels dimmer at night.
A room they use less than they used to.
Nothing urgent.
Just… different.
If you’re noticing those changes, here are a few simple things worth doing early, before they become problems:
• Walk through your home at night and notice where lighting feels weak
• Pay attention to any spot where you hold onto furniture for balance
• Notice which stairs, doors, or bathrooms feel more tiring than they used to
Ask yourself: If I twisted an ankle today, would this space still work?
You don’t need to fix everything.
You just need awareness.
Planning quietly before something forces the issue, keeps decisions in your hands.
