Willamette Coffee House has very graciously been hosting a Bears & Blankets Drive for Children’s Center since we launched the initiative in November! 🧸 The collection of stuffed animals and blankets you see here is from just one of our pick-ups.

This holiday season, we are especially grateful for our community and business partners who help stock our shelves and provide comforting, tangible items that bring warmth and joy to the children we serve.

Thank you to Willamette Coffee House and to everyone who filled the donation box for your generosity. Thank you for being part of our mission and for believing that every child deserves to be safe, respected, and valued. ❤️

At the Children’s Center, every child’s healing journey begins with feeling safe, understood, and cared for.💛

Today, we’re celebrating our extraordinary Medical Team! Whether working with young children or teens, our clinicians take time to explain each step, answer questions, and create a calm, comforting space. For many teens, it’s the first time a trusted adult helps them understand their bodies and feel reassured, respected, and in control.

Going beyond medical care, our clinicians focus on emotional support, empowerment, and teaching what’s okay and not okay when it comes to their bodies. They also document any abnormal findings or other concerns, to help ensure each child’s safety moving forward.

By building trust and offering encouragement, our medical staff help children leave feeling more confident, informed, and supported. These meaningful moments of connection and care are often the first steps toward healing - reminding every child who walks through our doors that their body matters, their voice matters, and they matter. 🌼

✨What an incredible night! ✨

We had a fantastic turnout at our Family Fundraiser last night at Baskin Robbins Gladstone! Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of fun, sweet treats, and supporting healing and hope for local children. 💜🍦

An additional shoutout to our hardworking Celeb Scoopers: John Wentworth, Clackamas County DA, John Schmerber, Chief of Gladstone Police, and Patti Serres, Founder/Director of Bloomin’ Boutique! Thank you for showing up for our Children. ⭐

We were also thrilled when an amazing donor surprised us by dropping off a collection of beautiful, cozy blankets for our kiddos, such a thoughtful gift that will bring comfort to children during difficult moments.

Your support helps ensure that every child who walks through our doors is welcomed with dignity, respect, and compassionate, trauma-informed care. Together, we're building a safer, stronger community for the children and families we serve. 🌷
