Mindful Monkeys have been learning about different emotions, how they feel in their bodies, and ways to “make friends” with their emotions. Taking care of our big feelings helps us stay centered and clear minded.

The children came up with metaphors for their anger when it first shows up and after they make friends with it. These kiddos are so creative and insightful!

A new 4-week series of GENTLE YOGA at Oregon Senior Center takes place Friday, February 20-March 13, 10-11 AM! There are still a few spots left!

This series is geared toward women and men ages 55 and older who're looking for a movement practice that supports balance, flexibility, core strength, healthy breathing, and a calm mind.

No prior experience is needed. The only requirement is having the ability to get up and down from the floor with relative ease.

Everything is taught in progressions, meaning we build from a baseline and you get to choose where you would like to work. We move slowly and thoughtfully while still challenging our growth edge.

Cost for all 4 weeks is $48. If you'd like to join us, please register using this link:

It warms my heart to receive spontaneously testimonials from parents like this one:

“It’s been really cool to have [my child] come home and be so excited to share what she learned and see her try to implement those things on her own throughout the week.”
