"Now that's a horse of a different color!"

This is equine team member Hershey. Each equine team member has a different personality and different traits from one another... just like us humans. The equine team members work with one another to find ways to live together and support one another even if there are differences.

How do you find ways to work through differences with others? What is it like for you to be around others that might have differences from you?

Rest...
The definition of rest often includes things such as "a period of sleep and relaxation";"a pause from work and activity"; "a time to recover and replenish strength."

Rest positively supports our mental, emotionally, and physical health. It helps us to be more creative, experience less stress, improve our relationships as well as many other benefits.

How do you rest? Are you able to find ways to rest when you need it?

Yawning... known to be contagious...

Equine team member, Lilly, is pictured sharing a yawn. Do you know how yawning helps us and other mammals?

Yawning helps to increase oxygen flow through the body and brain, which promotes the body to activate the rest, cool down, and relax response.

Ever notice that after a situation that may have led to having a stress response you find yourself yawning? Do you find that when others are yawning around you end up joining?

What are times you find yourself yawning?
What are other ways you find your body coping with a stress response?
