On Thursday we headed to Evansville on the bus. We had a request to drive by a family farm which we did, before making our way to Brooklyn, past one of my favorite stores, and on to Evansville.
Our first stop was Lake Leota/Leonard Park, followed by a drive around Evansville, before stopping at Culver's. The flavor of the day was Caramel Turtle, which everyone enjoyed, as we headed back to BeeHive.

We made puppy chow as a snack yesterday, with a few of our retired Home Economics teachers helping out, among others.
Once finished, we handed out cute Valentine Cards that were dropped off earlier. We certainly appreciated them!
Last, but not least, Huang brought in beautiful cookies she made for the staff, yum! 💗

A huge shout out to the Oregon HS Student Council, for planning a fun evening of bingo Tuesday. They did all the work, from calling bingo to providing the prizes, and did a wonderful job interacting with everyone, bringing enthusiasm and joy to all that played, including those of us that assisted.
Some of the student's had volunteered here previously, helping with other fun events.
