Happy World Kindness Day from The Gardens of St. Francis!

Today, we’re celebrating the many acts of kindness that make our community so special.

1️⃣ ❤️ A big thank you to Jenny Knorr, our Concept Rehab Therapy Manager, for starting THE HUMAN KINDNESS PROJECT! She's introduced a wonderful "Take-Give Box" in the break room – a space for all staff to:

✅ Take what you need (no questions, just support!)
✅ Give what you can (when you're able to share)

It's initiatives like these that truly build our community. Thank you, Jenny, for spreading kindness!

2️⃣ Feeling so inspired by Rick and Pam this World Kindness Day! They recently had dinner with a couple exploring Assisted Living options. They shared their own experiences about the emotions and logistics of the move, which can be such a big step. It's not always easy, but knowing there are people like Rick and Pam who offer guidance makes all the difference. Wishing the newly settled couple much happiness and new friendships! ✨

3️⃣ ❤️ Our wonderful Director of Mission Integration, Heidi Hoffman, went above and beyond to make sure resident Steve Vamos didn't miss his granddaughter's wedding! Knowing Steve is wheelchair-bound and unable to transfer into a personal vehicle, Heidi utilized our transport van herself, ensuring he had safe and comfortable transportation to this precious family event.

It's these moments of extraordinary compassion that truly make our community shine! Thank you, Heidi, for embodying kindness in action.
