“My son his arm!” a worried mother txted me at Voyage Clinics. From the photo, it looked like a fracture that needed setting.

After a quick check on his safety and well-being, we started coordinating care. This family has a high deductible, so our aim was to avoid a costly ER or hospital bill. I reached out to a few orthopedic surgeon friends and connected with Dr. Mark Sederberg, DO, at Advanced Sports and Orthopedics. We arranged X-rays, splinting, and setting of the bone for a fraction of the ER cost. I also quickly called in a pain medicine to provide pain relief fo setting the bone. He was splinted and treated within less than two hours of the initial text from Mama.

This isn’t the first time they’ve come through for us. Thank you, Dr. Mark and the team at Advanced Sports and Orthopedics in Lehi!
