Today, we're celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Day✨ ☺️

As mentioned on the article below, studies have shown kindness is associated with decreased blood pressure, improved self-esteem, less anxiety and depression, and living a longer healthier life.

We're grateful to our caregivers who are always looking for selfless ways to show love and service to our wonderful clients.

Random acts of kindness through the day can help us bring joy and happiness to both the giver and receiver. At Aspen Senior Day Center, they're always finding amazing ways to serve seniors while providing educational, healthy and brain stimulating activities.

Engaging in selfless acts not only serves the people around you, but also gives your mind and body a healthy boost.

Last week, we had the opportunity to hear from Valeria Galbraith, a hairstylist at Covington Senior Living of Orem. She shared awesome tips on how to properly care and curl elderly's hair. We appreciate her for taking the time to come and teach our wonderful caregivers how to properly care for our client's hair while building their confidence.

Camilla is very flexible and willing to take on extra hours when her client’s family needs it. She is very patient and adaptable. Her client’s family appreciates her dependability and we do too! Camilla is genuinely kind and always wants to do the right thing. She brings her life experience into being an amazing caregiver.

Molly gives caring service to our clients and jumps in to help with shifts when she can. She is proactive in completing the care plan and looking for extra ways to serve her clients. We're very grateful to have Molly be part of our Aspen family!

Congratulations to our Caregiver of the 1st Quarter: ✨Diane✨

Diane is a phenomenal caregiver! She has done extra training and research on her own so she can be more confident in helping her clients. She also steps up at the Aspen Senior Day Center to help them as needed. We send caregivers to shadow Diane to receive training on how to shower and other skills because she is so detailed and is definitely not afraid to do hard things.

Robyn O’Keefe steps up and helps with clients that have more needs. She serves with a cheerful attitude and works hard. Robin relates well with her clients and strives to fill their specific needs.
