IVV sends eye teams to Zambia 4-6 times a year, in order to screen for and treat medical conditions that lead to blindness, perform eye surgeries that can restore sight. Our board and physicians who make up the eye teams are all volunteers who donate their time and expertise. Rotary International and Sight Savers have been very supportive partners in our mission. We appreciate any donation large or small to help us in our mission.

Thank you to my aunt and uncle who helped prepare my mother’s garden for our beautiful IVV reception. They stepped off the plane from Korea and were instantly put to work weeding, planting, and sweeping in preparation for some serious fundraising. And yes, she is wearing a dress made of a chitenge from Zambia. .org
