Rather than take benefits away, create jobs/opportunities for those on aid to provide for themselves.

Thousands of Northstate residents will lose their food stamp benefits in 2016.The cuts will affect able-bodied adults between the ages of 18 and 50 who have no children, and are currently out of a job.

Welcome to my page for my new business. My name is Jeff Wood. I am a husband and father. My professional background for the last 10 years has been as a case manager in the Public Welfare arena both here in California and in Montana. I have experience in all programs; Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Medicare Savings Programs, SNAP (formerly the Food Stamp program) with a focus on Nursing Home programs and the elderly and disabled. In addition, I have worked for Social Security in the Disability Determination Services Division. I was trained through Butte County Mediation in Chico, CA as a Mediator and have continued to work with former clients to continue to assure they get the services they need. I am a STRONG advocate for those in need and having worked in the industry, as well as being in need of services myself, I have the distinct advantage of being able to understand being on both sides of the desk. Sure, you can call one of those attorneys on T.V. to help you get what you need, but it's going to cost you more than you can probably afford. My most recent case saw me assist a client getting approved for Social Security Disability on the first try and in a fairly short amount of time!
