It was an absolute honor to present a training on Vicarious Trauma to a group of incredible immigration attorneys and advocates this week.

These professionals are on the frontlines every day, holding space for some of the most heartbreaking and courageous stories imaginable. While I was there to share tools and insights to support their well-being, I walked away having learned so much from their resilience, compassion, and lived experience.

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to connect, to listen, and to be part of a conversation that prioritizes not just the work—but the people doing the work.

Let’s keep building spaces where care, reflection, and sustainability are part of the culture. 💙

This special evening is dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence, standing in solidarity with survivors, and honoring the life-saving work of our community providers.

When I am not helping with Mental Health Evaluations for Immigration Cases or doing therapy, I am working with Dr. Jacqui Williams-Horn bringing awareness to the Veteran Mental Health Crisis with our nonprofit, Golf Yankee Six. We sell tee-shirts to raise funds to fund scholarships for 6 counseling sessions with a Trauma-Informed Mental Health Provider.

The support we have received from Florida Gator Club has been instrumental in our success because of the connections we have made! We connected with David Pinner with the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance and are participating in the Veteran's Wellness Summit on Friday, November 15th, 2024 2-4 @ the Florida Gym on campus.
