COVID vaccine update-

Appointments are now available through Osceola Regional Medical Center for those who are "Exxtremely Medically Vulnerable" and can travel to the Vaccination Clinic. This includes anyone age 16 to 64 who has:

-Cancer with ongoing chemo treatment
-Sickle Cell Disease
-COPD and other respiratory diseases that require oxygen
-Tracheostomy
-Chronic ventilatory support
-Systolic congestive heart failure
-Congenital heart disease
-Obesity with BMI over 39
-AIDS with CD4 less than 200 in last 6 months
-Solid organ transplant
-Bone marrow transplant
-Dialysis patients
-Autoimmune disease on immunosuppressive therapy
-Cerebral palsy

How is our concierge practice different? With the extended amount of time with our physicians at each office visit, minimum of 30 minutes with each appointment and at least 90 minutes on initial appointment, a priority will be placed on patient education.

Your issues and risks will be addressed and goals of medical management will be discussed. You will understand the treatment plan – medications, tests and necessary procedures – and you will understand not only how we will manage your issues but also why we are making the recommendations that we make. This will allow you to take an active role in your own health care.
