You or a loved one have been having difficulties with daily tasks, maybe on school or at work. You are having difficulties understanding what is happening with you and why are you different from others or not as you used to be. You have noticed this for a while now and no other physicians seem to have an answer for your questions. Maybe you need more than they have been able to provide you. You want to know what else you can do and how you can gain or regain independence. You know that if you don't work with this soon, it could affect your mood and or of others around you. I know the road may have been long and maybe disappointing, although I have over ten years of experience working with individuals with neurological disorders, neurodevelopmental delays, aging, among others. My clients are typically finished with evaluations in one or two sessions and feedback sessions with the discussion of the report is not usually more than a month after the first session. You will feel relief in the end knowing what path to take and how to move forward.

Your health insurance may cover the full cost or a partial cost of the evaluation. However, some clinicians do not accept health insurance because they tend to limit coverage, which can be disruptive to the evaluation process and interfere with accurate diagnosis and intervention planning. Please ask for a special bill, often times called a Super Bill. You can take this bill to your insurance and ask for reimbursement. Most of the time, they reimburse part of the total cost of the services rendered. It is recommended that you call your insurance before scheduling an appointment and ask them what they cover and the percentage of reimbursement.
