Somerby Mount Pleasant recently welcomed a true original, The Pink Figgy! 🌸

This rare, limited-edition Nissan Figaro was exclusively produced and sold in Japan in the early 1990s, with only 20,000 ever made. Now calling Charleston home, she brought vintage flair, sweet surprises, and plenty of nostalgia to our community.

Residents enjoyed learning her story, snapping photos, and taking in every detail, from her right-hand drive to her signature candy-colored charm. The Pink Figgy turned an ordinary day into an unforgettable experience.

At Bridge Senior Living, we love seeing the creativity and joy our communities bring to every celebration, and The Bridges at Bent Creek truly delivered for National Pizza Day! 🍕🎉

Their team hosted a lively Pizza Party that brought together residents, staff, families, and friends for an afternoon full of connection and fun. Guests enjoyed delicious pizza and cannoli, were serenaded with the classic “That’s Amore,” played Pizza Bingo, and even tested their knowledge with a spirited round of Pizza Trivia.

We’re so proud of The Bridges at Bent Creek for creating meaningful, engaging experiences that bring people together.

What an incredible time at the Bridge Senior Living Executive Director Conference!

This gathering was a powerful reminder of what makes Bridge special—passionate leadership, shared learning, and a deep commitment to serving residents, families, and each other. The collaboration, insights, and energy in the room truly set the tone for the future.

The highlight, our annual awards dinner, celebrated high customer and employee engagement, amazing occupancy, and outstanding business results. It’s inspiring to see all of their hard work celebrated at such a high level. A huge congratulations and well-deserved shout-out to Somerby Peachtree City for being recognized as Community of the Year 🎉👏

February is Black History Month, a time to honor the history, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans who have shaped our nation. We remember Harriet Tubman, whose lifelong commitment to service extended beyond her courageous work on the Underground Railroad. Later in life, she helped establish the Harriet Tubman Home for the Aged, caring for elderly and underserved members of her community — a powerful example of compassion, dignity, and community care that resonates with us today.

At Bridge Senior Living, the Lilac Trace Memory Care program follows our “Meet Me Where I Am” philosophy, supporting residents in continuing the activities and roles that bring them comfort and happiness. For one resident, that meant honoring her background as a secretary by allowing her to continue “taking notes” at community "meetings."

Here’s what her daughter had to say about their experience at The Enclave of Springboro:

"Enclave in Springboro is the absolute BEST!!! My mom was treated with dignity, respect and love. As a dementia person and lifelong secretary, Mom was allowed to “take notes” of "meetings." And Debby was fantastic with her knowledge and care!"
