🥢 ASIAN GINGER-SOY CHICKEN BURGER LETTUCE CUPS WITH STEAMED GREEN BEANS

Ingredients
Protein
5 oz ground chicken or turkey, formed into 1 patty
Required Vegetable (5 oz)
• 5 oz green beans, trimmed
Fruit (4 oz — on the side)
• 4 oz fresh kiwi, sliced
Free Vegetables (do not count toward 5 oz vegetable)
• Large iceberg or butter lettuce cups
• Shredded cabbage
• Sliced green onion
• Sliced cucumber
Seasonings
• 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
• 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• Dash of Chinese 5 Spice
• Squeeze of fresh lime juice
• Pink Himalayan salt to taste
Instructions
1. Season the patty. Combine ground chicken with grated ginger, soy sauce, garlic powder, Chinese 5 Spice, and salt. Form into a patty.
2. Steam the green beans. Steam or boil green beans for 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender. Season with salt.
3. Cook the burger. Spray a skillet with 0-calorie cooking spray over medium-high heat. Cook the patty 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Squeeze lime juice over the patty when done.
4. Assemble. Break or slice the patty into pieces and nestle into lettuce cups. Top with shredded cabbage, green onion, and Cucumber.
5. Serve. Plate with steamed green beans and sliced kiwi on the side.
