I was part of the faculty for a SADI cadaver lab which is exactly as exciting as it sounds. Teaching other surgeons how to perform SADIs, explaining the technique, watching the lightbulb moments happen in real time. This is how the standard of care actually moves forward and I am excited to be a part of it.

Formé parte del cuerpo docente de un taller práctico de SADI con cadáveres, que es tan emocionante como parece. Enseñar a otros cirujanos a realizar SADI, explicar la técnica y ver cómo se les enciende la bombilla en tiempo real. Así es como realmente avanza el nivel de atención médica, y me entusiasma formar parte de ello.

Not long ago, Neisa relied on a wheelchair just to get through her day. Today, she's training for her next marathon. Not her first. She aims to complete one every single month.
