NEW OFFICE PROTOCOL
FOR INFECTION CONTROL
(APRIL 2020)
Our staff is committed to keeping our patients and staff healthy. To
that end we modified our patient flow as of March 3. today our
policies as are follows:
Pt calls for appt/ or patients have appointment. They contact the
front office on their phone and wait in their car until nurse
escorts them back to a room. Adults are limited to the
immediate family unit.Well patient exams are on one side of the office and take the
first appointments of this provider. Sick patients may be offered
a telemedicine visit or brought to the office on the designated
sick side, after their provider has finished with well checkups
Any patient who is coughing, will be examined outside of the
office. If a nebulizer treatment is recommended, it will be given
in the patients car
In between any entrance/exit of an exam room or a bathroom, a
thorough cleaning of every touchable surface takes place. There
are no toys/books in the exam rooms
Nurses/Doctors have outer protective covering of eyes,
nose/mouth and a jacket both for their and your protection
ILL EMPLOYEES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK
Other modifications take place as needed
