PALS -Providing Autism Links & Support

PALS -Providing Autism Links & Support PALS is the nonprofit for UCF CARD constituents, aiding those with autism and related disabilities.

Currently PALS is assisting CARD to support over 18,000 individuals with autism within Central Florida. This relatively translates into over 37,600 parents, over 31,200 grandparents, and countless professionals. The number of individuals receiving and requesting supports and services has doubled in the last 5 years, funding as remained stagnant. Each professional staff member now supports between 800-1200 individuals. A constituency board comprised of family members representing persons with autism and related disabilities meets regularly with the Center staff to provide guidance on policies, priorities and activities.
