We connect people to the joy of food, gardening & lifelong learning through garden-to-table programs designed to encourage our neighbors to put more plants on their plate Edible Education Experience (EEE) operates the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden in Orlando Florida. We are a unique Orlando-based non-profit organization that:

- features a Teaching Kitchen and on-site Culinary Garden

- provides innovative programming for local educational institutions and organizations

- develops relationships with locally and nationally recognized chefs

- collaborate with local healthcare systems

Edible Education Experience believes that seed-to-table experiences:

…forge meaningful relationships.

…develop autonomy and empowerment.

…builds competency with relevance to the natural world and one’s own lives.

…encourage a shared sense of responsibility.

….enables food to become an artistic tool for shifting perspectives. Our work builds strong community and family connections in the garden and at the table. We aim to empower students and their communities through seed-to-table experiences.

Oh what a night 😍

to December’s Chef Night with , where we were treated to wood-fired Mexican contemporary that was clean, conscious, and crazy delicious. and the whole June team dished up one crowd pleaser after another.

As a food distributor feeding Orlando’s unhoused population, they’re always accepting pantry staple donations. You can drop off donations on weekend mornings at their Pine Hills farm, any day at , or at .orlando when there’s a –and say hi to our Chef Ambassador .lordfer.lalicon!

And for our home cooks, you can take part in the Side Dish Program, where you whip up something nourishing in your own kitchen and drop it off at Kaya on Sunday mornings.

Poached pears are simple to make, but they pack a big holiday punch when you infuse them with warm winter spices. Add the pears to a seasonal salad (then reduce the poaching liquid into a syrup and serve with vanilla ice cream!)😋🍐

The Good Food Campaign is going strong, but we still need your help! It takes $13,000 to fund one 5-week program for a Neighborhood Center, where kids learn to cook tasty recipes with local produce and receive family food support from .

We want to bring six more Neighborhood Centers to The Kitchen House in the new year, and the Good Food Campaign is how we’ll do it. Your gift can help these kids grow–link in bio🌱

Did you know The Kitchen House grew from a community project with Orlando Junior Academy and ?

Parents, teachers, and community leaders created a school gardening and healthy lunch program to help students learn how what they eat helps them grow.

We’re still teaching OJA students how to eat well all these years later, thanks to community support that keeps their program free. Your gift to the Good Food Campaign will help these students learn and grow in the new year–link in bio🌱
