Feeling tired or sluggish in the afternoon is often blamed on busy schedules or lack of sleep, but digestion can also play a role.

Ongoing bloating, discomfort, or slow digestion can affect how your body processes nutrients and energy throughout the day. Over time, this can lead to patterns that impact focus and productivity.

If you’re noticing consistent digestive symptoms alongside fatigue, it may be worth exploring further.

Center for Digestive Health offers evaluation and treatment options to help address the underlying cause.

That discomfort you feel after certain meals, the bloating that shows up at the same time every day, the reflux that seems tied to your routine, those patterns are your body trying to tell you something.

It’s easy to brush things off or adjust around them, but recurring symptoms usually have an underlying cause that can be identified and treated.

Understanding what’s actually happening can make a meaningful difference in how you feel day to day.

It’s natural to search your symptoms online, but digestive issues can be complex and often overlap in ways that are difficult to interpret without medical guidance.

Relying on online information alone can lead to confusion, unnecessary worry, or delayed care.

A proper evaluation helps identify the actual cause of your symptoms and provides a clear, structured plan for treatment.

If you’ve been trying to figure things out on your own, Center for Digestive Health is here to help.

A lot of people put off colonoscopies because they feel nervous about the prep or they don’t know what the experience is really like. That’s completely normal, and it’s also something we can help with.

Colonoscopies are one of the most effective tools for early detection of colorectal cancer. For most patients, the procedure itself is brief, and our team focuses on making sure you feel informed and supported throughout the process.

If you’re due for screening or you simply want to talk through what to expect, call Center for Digestive Health at 407-896-1726 or visit cdhorlando.com to request an appointment.

Stress and digestion are closely connected, and many people notice digestive symptoms during stressful seasons. Reflux, nausea, bloating, abdominal discomfort, and changes in bowel habits can all be part of the picture.

It’s easy to brush symptoms off as “just stress,” but if they’re frequent, persistent, or affecting your routine, it’s important to rule out underlying GI concerns and build a clear care plan.

If stress seems to be affecting your digestion, call Center for Digestive Health at 407-896-1726 or visit cdhorlando.com to request an appointment.

A colonoscopy is a preventive screening that lets your doctor examine the inside of your colon using a thin, flexible camera. It helps detect abnormal growths, inflammation, bleeding, and other changes that often don’t cause symptoms early on.

One of the biggest advantages is that polyps can usually be removed during the same procedure. Since some polyps can develop into cancer over time, removing them is a powerful way to prevent problems before they start.

Here’s what the process typically looks like:
• Prep involves a short period of diet adjustments and a bowel cleansing solution so the colon can be clearly seen.
• The procedure is done under sedation, so you’re comfortable and monitored the entire time.
• The exam itself is usually brief, followed by a short recovery period before going home.
• Most people are back to their usual routine the next day, and results are reviewed with the care team.

Colonoscopies don't have to feel overwhelming when you know what to expect, and our team is here to guide you through every step with clear instructions and supportive care.
