Today, 3/4/26, marks one year since my beautiful Brooke transitioned from this world. 💔

A whole year… and yet sometimes it feels like a breath, and other times like a lifetime. You’ve missed so much here in the physical world — but I know, in the way my soul knows things, that you have not truly been gone.

I feel you in the quiet.
In the signs.
In the way certain memories rise out of nowhere and wraps around me!

The grief is real. It moves through me in waves. Today will be hard for me — I won’t pretend it won’t be. But beneath the ache, there is something else… a soft, sacred knowing that you are finally free. At peace. Released from the pain you carried so silently.

That knowing humbles me. It brings me to my knees in grace.

Today I will honor your light — the way you loved, the way you laughed, the beauty you carried both inside and out. I will revisit our adventures, our secrets, our wild and tender moments. 🤪

Nothing about what we shared was temporary. It still lives in me.

And tonight, I’ll pour a glass of champagne and sit with you intentionally. Not in despair — but in communion.

I will call on you the way I always have. Heart to heart. Soul to soul.

You are not just missed.
You are woven into me.

I love you eternally, Brooke.
And I will carry you — in this life and beyond. ❤️‍🩹✨
