Overlooking downtown’s Lake Beauty Park on the Orlando Health campus, the six-story Pavilion will encompass 189,000 square feet of space dedicated to providing coordinated specialized care for children and families. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

The Orlando Health Children's Pavilion will bring together more than 30 pediatric specialties and services under one roof, enhancing physician collaboration, improving accessibility and streamlining kids' and parents' experiences. 🏥

Aubrey started a non-profit called Medical Minis after being diagnosed with a rare condition several years ago. 🧸

After spending several years in and out of hospitals, relying on a feeding tube and often hooked up to monitors and other devices, there wasn't much to bring Aubrey comfort. However, she had one of her stuffed animals, which she kept close to her when she was having procedures done. When Aubrey was getting her feeding tube put in, she and her child life specialist had an idea. 💡

"She brought me a tube, so I could see it, and I was like, 'Can I put it in the unicorn?' And so together, we basically just stabbed a hole in its nose, and slowly threaded it in and then taped it," Aubrey said.

The stuffed animals are each different and are designed to reflect each child's medical condition. By sharing her own story through Medical Minis, Aubrey hopes to show other children that they're not alone. 🧡

After being told she may never be able to walk, Anayla’s mom and dad refused to give up. They searched endlessly for the right team to treat Anayla’s cerebral palsy and eventually found the pediatric rehab team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Dance battle with a robot dog? Now that's a first! 🕺

Patients got a chance to learn about state-of-the-art architecture, engineering and construction when the team from Haskell came to visit Ryan Seacrest Foundation at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children recently.

Haskell is responsible for constructing the new Orlando Health Children’s Pavilion, located across from Orlando Health Arnold Palmer and set to open in 2026. While on air, the Haskell team talked about what is involved in building the $165 million building and also demonstrated their robot dog, Scout, that assists them on construction sites. 🧡

At the 2025 Children’s Medical Fund Luncheon, Philoptochos proudly reaffirmed our commitment to healing and hope. ♥️ A $20,000 grant to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL, will support pediatric bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy, optimizing dosing efficacy and minimizing life-threatening adverse effects for young patients. In addition, families will receive assistance with meals, transportation, and childcare during their child’s treatment, providing critical support during a challenging time. 🙏

Through these vital initiatives, Philoptochos is turning compassion into lasting impact for children in need. 😇
