The Rescue Company 1 we provide critical transport education for flight and ground crews, and rescue classes.

The Rescue Company 1 was founded by Carlos Tavarez who was the first Firefighter / Paramedic on scene the night of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in 2016. Carlos had one mission; to train rescue & EMS professionals how to provide excellent treatment and care in difficult situations. At The Rescue Company 1, you will train with the best, so you’re prepared for the worst and "that others may live". Ou

r instructors have multi-years of experience and are all currently active in their field so they can provide you with recent, realistic, and relevant training and an expert education in emergency medicine, flight medicine, emergency rescues, and critical care transports. We pride ourselves in specialized, intensive, and realistic training that goes far beyond a classroom or what you learn online. Classes are open to all EMS and rescue personnel, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and anyone who is looking to advance their knowledge, skill sets, and take their training to the next level. We also provide training for the everyday citizen who wants to be prepared for a critical incident.

The intensity is ramping up in Broward! We just wrapped Day 3 of our program, and these students are proving exactly why they belong in the flight environment.

Today's Mission:
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Pediatrics, Neonatal, Reading X-rays, and Special Cardiac Arrest Situations.

PREPARING FOR THE SPLASH: THE EGRESS CHAIR

A highlight of today was the Water Egress Chair. Every single student rotated through the chair to build the essential muscle memory required for emergency underwater egress.

We don't just talk about safety; we drill it until the movements are automatic.

The dedication this class is showing to both their patients and their own survival is world-class.
