The brain loves storytelling…and it loves telling the same story everyday. In other words, we are experiencing Groundhog Day everyday! Unless we become conscious of the programming.

The best way to wake ourselves up is to do something new!
Doing something new gives the brain fresh information.
New input. New neural pathways. 🧠

For me right now, that looks like dancing at my favorite place .

It’s helped me feel@more comfortable dancing and moving in my body WITHOUT wine.

Just letting my body move without needing it to mean anything has significantly impacted my confidence in the past year more than I could have thought, and it’s a excellent somatic practice to work out energy in the body and boost natural dopamine. ☀️ I’m so freaking happy when I’m done dancing!!!

That’s often how change actually happens. Quietly, through the body, before the mind catches up.
