This is hands down the best style of exercise if you want flexibility, strength, performance, and injury prevention — all in one workout.
Instead of isolating muscles with “chest day” or “leg day,” I train specific lines and patterns of movement — exactly how the human body was designed to move.
Today I’m focusing on the powerful X-patterns in the body. These movements load and strengthen the glute on one side while lengthening and strengthening the opposite lat. It’s an incredible way to build flexibility in the hips and spine while strengthening the muscles around the hips, shoulders, and back.
I did 3 sets of each exercise, 30 seconds on each side.
