The Triduum which means "Three Days", is a Catholic liturgical season consisting of the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Easter Sunday which are called Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. These days hold significant meaning and are filled with prayer, fasting and reflection on the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Fun fact, the Triduum is the shortest liturgical season in the Catholic Church. ✝

The fourth week of Advent is Love. The final purple candle focuses on God’s endless and immense love for us revealed through the birth of His son Jesus. This week we reflect on the good news delivered by the angel Gabriel to Mother Mary. In this last week before Jesus's birth let us prepare our hearts to receive Him with love.

The third week of Advent is Joy and is represented by the rose candle. This Sunday of Advent is known as Gaudete Sunday, which means rejoice. This week celebrates the joy of Christ’s presence and the happiness that comes from God’s love, even amidst challenges. What Joys has God brought into your life this Advent season?
