Coronavirus (COVID-19)/Office Prevention Measures

Dear Patients,

We hope that you and your families are doing well during this time of concern. We want to inform you that Osteopathic Manipulation can help the body fight off infection and help to minimize the symptoms. While we are not treating anyone who has the virus, osteopathic manipulation may be helpful for prevention and to alleviate symptoms if you do get the virus. We want to reassure you that our office is taking the prevention measures for the safety of our patients, community and our families.


Here are some of the prevention measures we are doing at our office to help prevent this virus from spreading:

-Sanitizing all areas of the office every 2 hours

-Washing hands

-Wearing gloves

-Wearing mask

-Using hand sanitizer

-Screening all patients to make sure they are symptom free prior to their appointment


We ask at this time that everyone who is going to be treated at our office to be on the look out for these symptoms and or these concerns:



We will not be able to treat you if you have a fever and/or symptoms of respiratory infection or have been within 6 feet of someone known to have COVID-19 or have traveled to or from an affected geographic area as defined by the CDC, please contact your local Department of Health for further instructions.



Our goal is to continue providing excellent care for our patients. If you meet any of the following conditions, please help us by contacting your local health department.



Fever greater than 100.4 F
Cough OR shortness of breath
Recent respiratory infection such as pneumonia OR flu
Traveled internationally OR on a cruise ship within 14 days
In contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 OR is under investigation for the disease


Other Ways to avoid or reduce risk of infection:

· Clean hands frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water

· Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or flexed elbow

· Avoid close contact (3 feet) with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms

· Use hand sanitizer



If you are having symptoms due to allergies, please let us know, as we will need to also reschedule your appointment.
