Camouflage tattooing isn’t always the first step — and here’s why 🤍

As much as I love the results, camouflage tattooing is not always the best first option.

Before we even think about implanting pigment, we have to consider:

▫️ Is the scar fully healed? (12+ months is ideal)
▫️ Is there redness, texture, or raised tissue?
▫️ Is the area lighter or darker than your skin?
▫️ Has proper scar therapy been done first?

If there’s active redness, thickened tissue, or uneven texture, adding pigment too soon can actually make it more noticeable — not less.

Sometimes the better first step is:
✔️ Scar revision treatments
✔️ Microneedling
✔️ Inkless revision
✔️ Time + proper healing

Camouflage is about blending — not covering. And blending only works when the foundation is ready.

✨ Bad brows don’t happen overnight… and they’re not all the same.

Over-saturation, wrong color, poor shape, or too many sessions can all play a role.

💡 Your options:
• Work over (if skin & pigment allow)
• Color correction
• Removal first, then rebuild
• Or sometimes… leaving them alone is best
