Tracey struggled with being overweight since childhood. The only times she was able to lose weight was with intense workouts and very limited sugar/carbs. For most of her adult life, she engaged in some form of extreme dieting. From Keto (no carbs, no bread, no grain, barely any fruits and no junk food to Topiramate, an anti-seizure medication used for weight loss.
She would feel great for about three weeks, then have horrible headaches, fatigue, and mentally foggy for up to a week.
While on “Strict Keto”, she lost 50 pounds and a ton of inches. Worked out at Orange Theory plus had trainers 4 to 5 times a week. The weight came back with 30 extra pounds within 7 months.
Tune in on Tuesday to hear how the many years of extreme dieting and nutritional deficiencies caught up with Tracey, the medical diagnosis, and why she called this “The Crash.”
