We’ve got some AMAZING news to share!

By the end of Week 3, we didn’t just meet our goal of 600,000 steps… we CRUSHED it — reaching over 800,000 steps! 👏

This is an incredible accomplishment and truly shows the energy, dedication, and teamwork of our residents, families, and care team. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this milestone together!

Earlier this week, our residents set sail on a beautiful St. John’s River Nature Cruise—and what a perfect day it was! ☀️

With a warm breeze, sunny skies, and great company, everyone enjoyed a relaxing escape out on the water. Along the way, we spotted a variety of birds, native wildlife, and the breathtaking towering cypress trees that make this area so special. And yes… we did catch a glimpse of a manatee—just one, but it still made our day!

It was truly a refreshing and joyful outing for all!

Right outside our first-floor elevators stands a very special tree—one many of you know and love.

Today, it’s beautifully decorated for spring, but this tree holds meaning far beyond the seasons. It was lovingly donated by Brenda Derosia in honor of her mother, who was a cherished resident in our Memory Care neighborhood. For years, Brenda has continued this heartfelt tradition, personally coming in to decorate the tree for each holiday and special occasion.

It’s more than just décor—it’s a tribute, a memory, and a symbol of love that continues to grow within our community.

And pictured alongside it is our beautiful resident, Ms. Peggy, who brings just as much joy to our days as this tree does!

We are so grateful for thoughtful gestures like this that remind us how special our connections are with residents and families—past, present and future. 💛

We are SO close, Paradise Pointe!

Our latest numbers are in for our Pump It for Parkinson’s challenge and we’ve reached an incredible 549,900 steps!

That puts us just steps away from our goal of 300 miles (approximately 600,000 steps). We can almost see the finish line!

Let’s keep up the momentum this week, team! Residents, families, and employees—every step counts, so don’t forget to log your steps in the gym.
