We enjoyed a beautiful Easter celebration yesterday here in Paradise. Our residents and families enjoyed a delicious luncheon filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of sweet surprises!

The Easter Bunny made a special visit, bringing smiles to everyone, and our golden egg prizes added an extra touch of excitement!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Easter one to remember—including our many caregivers and team members who worked to provide exceptional care and service to our residents. Happy Easter, everyone! 🐰

Join us in celebrating our wonderful Resident of the Month, Carol!

Born in Boston, MA, Carol spent her early years as an elementary school teacher before dedicating her time to raising her two children. She shared an incredible 60-year marriage with her husband, Bill—a true love story!

Carol enjoys Bible Study, movies, and music entertainment, and she has a special place in her heart for little dogs. Her favorite holiday is Easter, a time that reflects her faith and joyful spirit.

Her words of wisdom? “Do not be judgmental.”

We are so grateful that Carol chooses to call Paradise Pointe home. Be sure to say hello and congratulate her!

This morning was a special one. 🐾

Our residents at Paradise Pointe poured their hearts into creating 50 “Puppy Love” treat bags in honor of National Puppy Day—and today, we had the joy of delivering them to the amazing team at the Halifax Humane Society, Inc.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect! These bags will be gifted to families taking home their new furry companions during this weekend’s adoption event, featuring 50% off adoption fees now through Sunday! 🐶

Each bag is filled with toys, treats, and sweet notes—helping make those already special adoption moments even more memorable.

We’re so proud of our residents for giving back and showing that kindness truly makes a difference.

We’re excited to share that our Delicious Memories Cookbook recipe collection has been extended through April 15 — and we’re inviting even more of our community to be part of it.

This special cookbook is open to:
• Current residents & families
• Families of past residents who would like to honor a loved one

If your loved one had a favorite recipe they enjoyed making or sharing, we would be honored to include it in their memory.

• Families can submit up to 3 recipes
• Recipe cards are available at the Concierge Desk and in Memory Care
• New deadline: April 15
• Cookbooks will be sold in our boutique as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association

Today kicks off our month-long Parkinson’s Awareness Challenge at Paradise Pointe! 💙

We’re proud to be participating in the Pump It for Parkinson’s initiative, and we’ve set a big goal as a community: 300 miles in the month of April!

We’re inviting residents, family members, and staff to join us and help make a difference!

Here’s how it works:
🚴 Earn miles by using the NuStep machine in our gym
🚶‍♂️ Or by walking around campus
🕛 Join us for Open Gym Monday–Friday from 12–1 PM
📊 Track your miles and help us reach our community goal!

Walking participants can even pick up a FREE pedometer to keep and use throughout the challenge!

Once we hit our goal, we’ll celebrate with a Parkinson’s Victory Party / Power Hour featuring:
🥤 Healthy smoothies
🎶 Live music
🎁 Prizes for top participants

Let’s come together for a month of movement, motivation, and meaningful impact. Every mile counts!

We may be posting this on April Fools’ Day, but the Paradise Pub Crawl is the real deal—and you won’t want to miss it! Join us as we celebrate National Beer Day on April 7th with an afternoon full of great drinks, good company and festive fun.

With the help of our amazing partners, we’re turning our community into a series of themed pubs, each featuring tasty bites, refreshing drinks, games, and more.

Grab your punch card, make your way through each stop, and turn it in for a chance to win a prize!

Families and friends are encouraged to join us and be your loved one’s “designated driver” while enjoying the fun together—and if you’ve been curious about life at Paradise Pointe, this is the perfect opportunity to explore our community and see what we’re all about!

In celebration of National Pet Day (April 10), we’re excited to kick off our “Paws-itively Adorable Pet Photo Contest!”

Now through April 8, we’re inviting all residents and employees to share a photo of their beloved pet for a chance to win a prize!

Here’s how it works:
📩 Email your pet photo to our Concierge Team
🐶 Include your pet’s name and your name (resident or employee)
👍 We’ll post all entries on Facebook & Instagram on National Pet Day (April 10) and the photos with the most likes win!

Two winners will be selected:
• 1 Resident Winner
• 1 Employee Winner

Resident family members, don’t worry, our Leadership Team will come to your loved one's room to take their pet’s photo!

Our Easter Luncheon is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our residents and their loved ones. 💛

Be sure to RSVP by April 2nd to reserve your family’s preferred dining time. We will be seating families for a plated Easter meal at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. This event is complimentary for residents and $25 per guest.
