On this day, we took time to pause, to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who stepped forward on September 11, 2001.

For Dr. Scott, this day carries a profound weight. In the wake of the attacks, he was among the first 100 boots on the ground in the Middle East. His service, alongside so many others, is a lasting reminder of courage, sacrifice, and the unity that rose from tragedy.

May we always remember and never take for granted the freedoms we hold today.
