Hey all,
Thank you to everyone who has reached out about potential flooding at the daycare. Many parts of Orofino are flooded, and roads leading in and out of town are closed due to slides. So far we have power and no flooding. Hannah and I have been monitoring security cameras to monitor status of the creek. I was there earlier and did bring the incubator and eggs home incase we loose power, or we cannot get to the daycare. We are hoping it doesn’t get to that point. As of now our plan is to be open Monday unless there’s a major change. Again, thank you to everyone who has checked up on us. Be safe!

We have our first hatchling of the year. Out of 6 turkey eggs we had 1 fertile and made it to hatch day. I can’t wait to see all the kids faces.

FLLC-Orofino is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable staff to join our team. Must be 18+, able to pass an enhanced background check, become CPR/FA certified, and complete online ICCP trainings. CPR will paid for by daycare, background check will be reimbursed after probation period.

Shift is Mon-Thurs, 9am-5pm. Pay is DOE.

Have a child of your own, no problem. We have availability for you to bring 1 child with you. Please contact us or JoAnne Lobo with any questions.

Thank you Orofino 4H for partnering with us so our kids can enjoy a fun learning experience.

If you’ve been interested in 4H, I highly recommend reaching out and getting involved. It’s a great experience for any child.
