All too often I see people giving authority to their spiritual guides and connecting to them as the power source instead of aligning with their OWN inner wisdom, Higher Self, and connection to God/Universe/Source FIRST.

This takes our internal power away and gives it away to something external.

Even if we are viewing our guides as a part of us, connecting to them before we connect to our highest self is still giving our power away.

When we come into this body, we choose to forget everything so we can learn what we came here to learn.

Our spiritual guides are given the “book” of our life to know, to study, so when we forget, when we are struggling, they can guide us back to what we know in our heart of hearts.

They can guide us back to the remembering of who we really are.

They can assist us in remembering information we set up long before we came into this body.

Sometimes we have blockages, sometimes we forget, sometimes we protect ourselves from knowing…. there’s many reasons why we struggle on our paths.

But the truth is, the answers are already within us and our guides are simply helping us access what we need to access.

Our connection to God/Creator/Source/Universe is first and foremost.

That is the primary relationship.

It is a connection to and through our Highest Self to All That Is. To our own wisdom, our own Divine Intelligence.

Our spiritual guides protect, support, inspire and love us, but they are not the authority.

They do not know more than us.

They’re simply helping us remember what we have forgotten.

Allow them to do the “job” they signed up to do by tapping in, accepting support, love, and guidance but do not give them the power.

They do not want it.

They are thrilled when we know, feel, see and accept our own higher wisdom and internal authority.

Left the house today and saw three pigeons, immediately getting my attention.

Pulled onto another road and a pigeon flew right in front of me, I thought it was a goner.

I get to the birthday party and look what another person set on the table for the birthday girl: three pigeons.

The Animal Kingdom loves to support us on our path and if we pay attention, we notice the patterns and synchronicity that speak to us.

My next step, meditate on Pigeon and see what comes forward.

This is a fun yet powerful meditation! We tried this today and absolutely loved it.

Get yourself some blooming tea. In a quiet, peaceful space, set your intention.

“Spirit, please show me what is ready to bloom in my life.”

Place the ball in a clear glass, pour in your hot water and meditate on the beautiful flower as it opens.

What do you feel? Hear? See? Know? Trust the messages that come in.
