Our Admission department wants to thank all of our dedicated staff for the care you give everyone that walks through our doors.
Tomorrow we will be celebrating "Cultivating Kindness" by teaming up a staff member with a resident to help relandscape our aviary with beautiful flowers, succulents, and ground cover for everyone to enjoy too enjoy.

If you have ever wanted to thank skilled nursing care staff for their dedicated caring work for our communities aging seniors, the special nationally recognized week for doing so starts this Sunday. When it comes to exercise, walking is one of the best for older adults because it imparts impressive benefits but with a low risk of injury.
Walking is low impact enough that you won’t typically be sore from doing it, and it doesn’t elevate your heart rate into potentially dangerous zones like more vigorous exercise can do. Some other benefits? Simply by walking, you can gain stronger muscles and improved balance. Walking also helps to keep your weight under control, and regular strolls around the block lower your risk of heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. Not bad!

Did you know this year’s NSNCW theme—Cultivating Kindness—is inspired by the many acts of kindness that happen in skilled nursing care centers every day. Research has found that practicing compassion and kindness not only can improve health and well-being but can also strengthen human connections and bonds.
Country Crest Post Acute employees practice kindness every day of the year, but we also plan on spreading kindness in new ways during this special week, which begins on Mother’s Day, May 14th through May 20th, 2023. Stay tuned over the next couple of months to see exactly how we are celebrating!
