Ok friends!! We have another young mother who escaped an abusive relationship with not much more than the clothes on her back! She’s trying to get back on her feet and finally found a home for herself and her 2 boys.
I literally JUST gave away a table, chairs, dresser and desk .. so I don’t have much.. I have a living room chair, an end table and some curtains .. so you know the drill! Clean out them cupboards and look for extras! ☺️
She needs everything from silverware to living room furniture!

I know you guys think you’re sharing a lost pet but it changes after so many shares and the link is a phishing site.
I have several friends who’s lost pet post share has turned into “rent this whole ass house for $695”

Wondering how much interest there would be in bringing CRAFT to Orwell..??

Community Reinforcement and Family Training, or CRAFT, is an approach for families or friend who have a loved one struggling with substances use disorders, but are not ready to accept help. CRAFT is about learning a different method to communicate with and support your loved one. It’s about taking care of yourself, while also learning how to interact with your loved one in a way that increases the likelihood of making a real change.

The Leotis House is taking steps and getting closer to becoming a place for Hope and Healing.
I’m speaking with county officials to help set up a support group for families dealing with addiction and mental health issues in their adult children/loved ones.
I look forward to getting this group up and running. There are so many of us who need a place to turn when we feel lost, alone and helpless. We are not alone! Hope is not lost! There is help and we will heal!

The house is still in the Healing process itself but it’s feeling better.. calm, quiet, happy.

It’s a beautiful morning and there’s lots of work to be done at the Leotis House.. changes continue.
Today I will be doing some painting and property clean up. I need to prep an area for the outdoor pavilion where we will hold our groups next spring.

My grandmother made this in 1967.. if you think your sh*tty choices in men affects no one but you.. you’re incredibly wrong. It affects everyone who knows you and loves you.
