My name is Shae Hymes, and I’m proud to be a Lake of the Ozarks native. I graduated from Camdenton and later earned a double major in Event Planning and Management from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. While I spent a short time experiencing city life in Kansas City, the lake has always felt like home; its charm eventually brought me back for good.

What ultimately motivated me to buy Paint Box was the realization that I’d always dreamed of pursuing this path, and I’ve always had a special love for the place.

Paint Box is unique because everything is homemade. There’s a warmth and authenticity in every bite that you just don’t find everywhere.

Paint Box Café is a warm, cozy, and inviting place where guests can unwind, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. Whether you’re stopping in for a relaxed lunch or picking up a specialty coffee or tea, it’s a welcoming spot for everyone to enjoy. 😊
