🎄 Our Angel Tree Tradition Continues! 🎄

Every year, we celebrate the season by sharing joy through gift-giving for residents in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Each angel on the tree represents a holiday gift wish from one of these residents.

This tradition means so much to us, and we’re excited to keep it going. If you’d like to join in, stop by the Welcome Desk in Osage and choose an angel! Gifts are due back to MCRHC by Dec. 10 so we can deliver them in time for Christmas.

❄️Slick Sidewalks, Icy Driveways and Slippery Stairs? Stay Safe!

Freezing, wet weather can make surfaces dangerous. Prevent falls with these quick tips:

✅ Wear sturdy shoes with good traction
✅ Walk slowly and take small steps
✅ Keep hands free for balance
✅ Use handrails whenever possible
✅ Clear snow and ice from walkways
✅ Watch for black ice in shaded spots
✅ Plan ahead. Give yourself extra time

Thank you to everyone who came out to Limestone Brewers for an unforgettable evening at the Diamond Classic this week. It was a packed house as we enjoyed bingo, the Longest Drive golf simulator contest, and endless pizza...all for a great cause!

Hosted by the Mitchell County Memorial Foundation, the Diamond Classic wasn’t just fun, it was about building a brighter future for kids in North Iowa. Funds raised will help equip the new MCRHC pediatric therapy gym, part of the new therapy center under construction on Pine Street in Osage.

At MCRHC's Sunshine Boutique gift shop, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Check out the wonderful gift options for that person on your list. Sunshine Boutique is open 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located by MCRHC's welcome desk and Sunnyside Cafe.
