🚗🎃 Halloween & Football Friday Safety Reminder! 🎃🏈

This Friday evening, there will be a lot of traffic throughout Mitchell County with both trick-or-treating and football games happening around the same time. Please take extra care on the roads!

👀 Drivers: Slow down, stay alert, and watch closely for children crossing streets or walking near roadways.
🍬 Trick-or-treaters and families: Use flashlights or glow sticks, wear reflective clothing, and stick to sidewalks whenever possible.

Nearly 150 third grade students from around the county attended the annual MCRHC Children's Health Fair earlier this month at Sacred Heart Church in Osage. They participated in several fun activities including the always-popular fire safety Smokehouse, touring the MCRHC ambulance, learning about casts and fractures, and safe prescription drug use during the day. MCRHC thanks our community presenters (Mitchell County Public Health, Mitchell County Sheriff's Department, Osage Veterinary Clinic, Osage Volunteer Fire Department, and Lora Hargens) for their time and enthusiasm.
