As part of our commitment to safety, CCH conducts monthly fire drills to ensure our alarm systems are functioning properly and our teams are prepared to respond in an emergency. Today, we tested our response in the Operating Room, giving staff the opportunity to practice their roles in a real-time scenario.

As we continue conducting these exercises, we plan to share updates and insights to help keep everyone informed and engaged in our ongoing safety efforts!

We are excited to recognize 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧 as the "New Team Member of the Quarter" award winner!

Juan joined the CCH team four months ago as our Groundskeeper / Maintenance Mechanic II. Whether he’s mowing, maintaining the grounds, cleaning up leaves, planting flowers, or enhancing the hospital’s outdoor spaces, Juan always does it with the biggest smile on his face. He takes great pride in keeping our campus looking its best. When he’s not outdoors, he’s busy assisting with work requests and preventative maintenance throughout the facility - this guy is truly everywhere, all the time!

Here is what Juan's peers had to say about him:

"Juan is always upbeat and has a smile on his face. He is very dependable and has the grounds looking nice. He is a good mentor and teacher to the part time help. When work is done outside you can find him tagging along inside helping out with projects, assisting the rest of the team."

"Juan joined CCH after we were down a groundskeeper early in the season. He stepped up and cleaned up all the flower beds, spread mulch, mowed and w**d whacked the areas that hadn't been touched in quite a while. Juan is always asking questions, helping out those who need help, being a great team player and an asset to not only the maintenance team, but the whole hospital. All of us are so thankful for Juan and all the hard work he has done in the short time he has been here!"

"Juan is always nice to talk to. He is always working hard. I don't know that I have ever seen him not working."

"Juan demonstrates CCH's APRIRE values each and every day. He is very friendly, respectful and greets all with his welcoming smile and a "Good Morning". Juan hits the ground running every day and is seen helping anyone whether fellow team members or visitors. Juan shows commitment to his coworkers by assisting them and/or visitors whenever the need arises. Just today he assisted a visitor with getting out of the parking lot. Juan is continuously looking at ways to improve the look of the Clarke County grounds. He sees something that needs to be done, and he just does it. I love that he is part of our team!"

"Juan has a positive attitude that shines through each and every day. He is accountable for his work and respectful of others. He is definitely an asset to Clarke County Hospital employees and patients."

"No one works harder or smiles bigger! What a great representative of our hospital!"

"Juan embodies the ASPIRE values every day through his positivity and willingness to help others. He is always smiling, uplifting everyone around him, even when working. He's always willing to go the extra mile, and consistently demonstrates teamwork, respect and integrity. He inspires everyone around him and makes Clarke County Hospital better and more beautiful for everyone."

"Juan is always making the campus beautiful and will smile and say hello to everyone. Recently, a semi was parked in the employee parking lot at the Admin building. The driver tried several times to back out and was not able to even with Kylie and Juan directing him. After some time, Juan offered to back out the truck himself and was able to successfully back the truck out onto the road on the first try. To do this with no damage to anyone's property is impressive. This story shows how much Juan cares about making sure everyone is safe and able to access the care they need. "

👏 Juan embodies our ASPIRE values and has been a great addition to the CCH team! Please join us in congratulating Juan on this achievement!

WOW. Thank you, Murray! 💜🐎

Earlier tonight, Clarke County Hospital collaborated with Murray Schools to host a Family Education Night! Over 165 students and parents enjoyed engaging educational stations and a delicious meal, along with the opportunity to create "feel-good" bags and interact with animals at the petting zoo hosted by the Murray Jr. High FFA! 🐴🐇🐐

A highlight of the evening was high school students and parents brainstorming ideas for a "Caring Store," aimed at providing Murray students with essential food, clothing and hygiene items. What an incredible night filled with education, creative activities, community service, and FUN!

👇 If you attended tonight's event, drop a comment sharing your favorite part of the evening for a chance to win a CCH swag bag! ❤️
